Sikh Aware currently is the only registered Sikh organization with the Corrections Department of New Zealand which is able to provide Sikh Chaplaincy Services in the prisons on New Zealand. The Sikh Chaplain of Sikh Aware visits the various corrections facilities on a regular basis to provide faith-based services to the inmates at these facilities.
